Meet the Sitters

Shani Schofield

I moved to NC from Great Britain in early 2014 with my family and 2 elderly cats,  I have had many rescue animals, particularly elderly and sickly animals that can otherwise be hard to find new homes for.  I volunteered for a number of years with a U.K. animal rescue charity which I really enjoyed and found very rewarding, despite some heartbreaking stories some of the animals arrived with.

I wanted to find work that combined my love of animals with earning a living and so pet sitting was the obvious choice for me.  I love all my four legged clients, big and small, and enjoy visiting with them and caring for their needs whilst their owners are away.

I have chosen to pet sit because I love animals.   I think animals add a lot of love to a family, and I love being around them.

During my childhood, all the cats in the neighborhood knew they could come to the Langley household to be fed and loved.  During my adult years I have had 2 dogs – both Whippets!  One was a male named Starbuck and the other (our current dog) is a female, Diana.
